The Republican Club of Mount Arlington Hosts
                 Council Candidates "Meet & Greet"

The Republican Club of Mount Arlington held a "Meet and Greet" for Council Candidates running in this year's Primary.  All four candidates were invited; Councilman John Driscoll declined the invite as well as Council President Nita Gilante, Council challengers Paula Danchuk and Nancy Absalon both attended.  The audience listened to the candidate's opening remarks as they described some personal details, experiences, and why they have decided to serve the community. The two candidates then responded to a variety  of questions and issues facing our town from the audience for about 45 minutes, followed with a casual mingling with the audience.  We thank CARMA for recording the event and placing the audio link on their website.  We will provide a link to the same audio file very soon.

Mount Arlington Hosts
                  Their
First Community Social

The Republican Club of Mount Arlington held their first Community Social on December 5th at the Carriage Club in
Mount Arlington .  Despite the unexpected inclement weather, most of the 50 invited guests were in attendance and a great time was had by all.  It was an excellent opportunity for fellow republicans to celebrate the holiday season as well as a great opportunity to meet new members and new residents in town.  The entertainment was spectacular and we were pleased to have donated the remaining food to the Market Street Mission located in Morristown the following day. The food donation arrived in time to help out the Mission as they were preparing for a graduation ceremony that night for the residents in their program.

The Republican Club of Mount Arlington is comprised of republicans in the Mount Arlington community who believe in adhering to Republican philosophies and principles in our local, state, and federal governments.  In addition to social activities and monthly meetings, the mission of the club also includes; providing campaign support, a communication link to County and State GOP activities, and sponsoring community service projects to mention a few.  Some of our meetings will feature a guest speaker, including elected officials and key note speakers from community educational programs.

We would like to thank the officers and social committee members who worked feverishly to make our first event a successful and enjoyable one !

We welcome new members who are interested in joining the Republican Club of Mount Arlington.  For details, please visit our website @ www.rcmta.com or contact us at P.O. Box 207, Mount Arlington, NJ  07856.
